'Pavitra Mujhe Bana De' is a prayer song asking the Lord to cleanse us and make us holy. The aim of our Christian journey is to be like Jesus in every area of our life and this begins with us praying for holiness.

The Story Behind this Song:
Just like other songs, the Holy Spirit put this song in my heart during an intense time of worship. The Scripture teaches us that man has only three adversaries in spiritual warfare; the world, Satan, and the flesh. We don't have to fail in our battle against them, because God has given us the Holy Spirit who wants to help us every moment.

But when in spite of our tireless efforts, these three begin to dominate in our life, we can only pray with complete submission "Lord we are completely helpless, only you can make us holy".

Holiness is not for performance in our spiritual life but it helps us to be like Jesus. When I started to understand this, the Holy Spirit added the last line of the song, "So that I could be like you”

This prayer and response to the Holy Spirit was converted into a song and our entire team is thankful to God for that.

Lyrics:
PAVITR MUJHE BANA DE PRABHU
SHUDDH MUJHE KAR DE PRABHU
TAAKI TERE JAISA DIKHOON

SHAREER KEE ABHILAASHAON PAR
SHAITAAN KEE SAAREE TAAKAT PAR
VIJAY MAIN PAOON, JAY MAIN PAOON
TAAKI TERE JAISA DIKHOON

TERA VACHAN MERE DIL MEIN RAKHOON
PYAAR MAIN TUJHASE HEE KAROON
PRAARTHANA MEIN BAL MAIN PAOON
TAAKI TERE JAISA DIKHOON

TERA HAATH SADA MUJH PAR RAHE
TEREE AGUVAEE MEIN NIT MAIN CHALOON
SANGATI MEIN TEREE
PAVITR AATMA MAIN BADHOON
TAAKI TERE JAISA DIKHOON

Filadelfia Music exists to help you worship God in Spirit and in truth. An arm of the Filadelfia Fellowship Church of India, Filadelfia Music produces Hindi gospel music and Hindi Christian worship songs for the glory of God. Filadelfia Music believes that songs help you to worship but worship is more than songs or music, it is a 24/7 lifestyle and so is not to be limited to any space or stage. It is written, "Whatever you do, do all for the glory of God" (1 Cor 10:31). As we do this it becomes our worship, and the sound of heaven resounds in our homes and our streets.
